Born and raised under Illinois’ big sky and surrounded by tall corn fields, sisters Heather and Beth love being together and talking about deep and not-so-deep topics. They ventured apart, living in various cities such as Boston and Auckland but now back together, they live with their families in the great state of Texas.

Heather Lake is an American author just moving to Texas from New Zealand. She writes about the intersection of motherhood and technology on her blog DigiMummy.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and has traveled and spoken on education topics all over the world.

Heather and her husband have two daughters and they love spending weekends together hiking and exploring new places.

Beth

Beth has worked in various communications’ roles since 2012, largely writing and editing for women’s organizations and charities.

She is a contributor for Dallas Moms and works for a local anti-trafficking nonprofit in the Dallas area. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Dallas in 2020. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

She loves spending time and going on adventures with her amazing husband and two spectacular kids.
